Data sources
Every item on the address fact sheet shows its source. We only use public, free registers.
Addresses: National Register of Boundaries (PRG)
Address points, postcodes and administrative units come from PRG, run by Poland's Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography (GUGiK). Search uses the GUGiK geocoding service.
Buildings and plots: land and building register (EGiB)
Building outlines, plot numbers and plot boundaries come from the cadastral parcel location service (ULDK), which publishes data from county registers. We calculate the footprint and plot areas from these outlines, so they can differ from the values recorded in the register or in the land register (księga wieczysta).
If the address point does not fall on a building outline, we look for the nearest building within 22 m and say so on the fact sheet.
Calculators
Calculator rates are based on the Polish Civil Law Transactions Tax Act, the Minister of Justice regulation on maximum notary fees, and the Act on court costs in civil cases. Results are estimates. The notary gives the final amounts.

Limitations
The data is only as current as the registers it comes from. The fact sheet is for guidance and is not an official register extract or land register copy.
